Lisa Felter, PhD, has an extensive academic and research background in Physics and Entrepreneurship. In her time at Newry, Lisa has worked on engagements ranging from detailed technology assessments to in-depth market analyses and innovation workshops. She has identified dozens of new opportunities for technologies ranging from microfluidics to carbon fiber composites across a wide variety of industries, including automotive, electronics packaging, and life sciences. Recently, she led a study to understand a client's value proposition for a polymer additive in structural automotive adhesives.
Lisa joins Newry from Case Western Reserve University, where she completed a post-doctoral fellowship in cancer biology funded by the National Institutes of Health. As a graduate research assistant at CWRU, her work covered a range of technologies, including biomedical imaging, pharmacology, magnetic nanoparticles, and molecular imaging. While earning her MS in Physics Entrepreneurship, Lisa consulted to Cleveland-area startups on market research, technical feasibility, and business plans for new technologies. She has also co-authored 10 articles published in peer-reviewed journals.
