We’re excited to welcome Neil Chavan to the Newry team!

Neil Chavan is a recent graduate of Case Western Reserve University where he studied Chemical Engineering and Environmental Studies. As a Research Assistant at the Energy Lab at CWRU, Neil investigated the role ionic liquids play in lowering the energy requirement for conversion of carbon dioxide to other value-added chemicals. Neil served as a Think Energy Fellow at the Great Lakes Energy Institute where he worked to develop a residential microgrid energy management system. As Project Lead in the Humanitarian Design Corps at CWRU, Neil managed an international team working to bring clean water to a rural Costa Rican village by planning and constructing new pipeline infrastructure. Neil previously served as a Research & Development Intern for Molecular Rebar Design, LLC, where he gained valuable experience working with coatings modified with discrete, functionalized carbon nanotubes.

Welcome, Neil Chavan!
