We, as a company, believe unequivocally that Black lives matter. In the wake of George Floyd’s death, we pledge to support local organizations working toward racial justice and commit to deepening our own understanding of systemic racism so that we may combat prejudice and confront bias more effectively.
One of Newry’s principle values is “The Individual.” We believe that our greatest asset is our people, and we are committed to treating each person with respect and compassion. However, while we live this value with our colleagues and clients, it is not enough to drive meaningful change for our community. We must do more.
Starting with a day of education and action on Juneteenth (June 19th, the date commemorating the end of slavery in the United States), Newry will devote time and resources on a regular basis to cultivating anti-racist values, racial justice, and dismantling discriminatory practices.
