We facilitated leadership training for next-generation program managers at a global technology and manufacturing company
A client was interested in training innovation program managers to utilize critical resources and tools more efficiently in order to capture growth opportunities and build a stronger competitive position. Newry helped to design an intensive two-week course to develop those capabilities, a curriculum that has been used at our client for eight years with over 200 next-generation managers.
The course teaches important skills in program leadership and stakeholder engagement through strategically focused case studies and instruction from subject matter experts, as well as concentrated peer-to-peer interaction and coaching. We involve members of senior leadership to provide open, candid perspectives on key success factors for stewarding technology programs through each stage of commercialization. Our participants come away from the event with a greater understanding of every aspect of running an innovation program, from developing a value proposition and business case to building relationships with customers and other strategic partners.
